EPISODE 22: WHEN THE PAT’S AWAY, THE HER-FANS WILL PLAY

her

So just because Pat goes out of town, I’m just supposed to sit idly by… oh, no, ladies and gentlemen. Oh… no.

In this episode, Justin is joined by Pete Conway, friend of the show AND the host, as Pat was off galavanting with Kellen Lutz somewhere on the opening weekend of The Legend of Hercules.

Justin and Pete dive into some news about the new FX show based on the Coen Brothers film Fargo, lament the future existence of Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 and continue discussing the sad yet hilarious story that is Shia LaBeouf.

Then the guys move on to discuss Her, the new Spike Jonze film that is equally beautiful and brilliant. And even though they talk about it for a half hour, they fail to mention HOW FUNNY IT IS! IT’S REALLY FUNNY! (No, really – it’s actually very funny).

  1. Really enjoyed this episode, and loved hearing Justin and Pete talk about ‘Her’. One of you (I think it was Justin) made a really good point that while Theodore was walking around with his operating system talking to Samantha. A lot of other people are on their own devices, and they are probably doing the same thing. This is a good indication of where I future may be headed. Also will agree with Amy Adams quote about how relationships are an acceptable form of insanity. It reminds me of this line in ‘Annie Hall’.(Im paraphrasing)

A guy goes to a doctor and tells him that his brother thinks he’s a chicken. The doctor asks if he should have his brother committed. The guy replies that he would but he needs the eggs
